No Power - No Status - No Nothing

Storm came through knocking out a lot of electric customers. In checking outage status DOM is unable to provide a status on our little neck of the woods.

The DB next store who I’ve whined about on a few occasions in the past cranked up his generator. Of course like all the crap between our homes that’s where the generator is. Such a DH.

Verizon cellular data connection is nonexistent when the whole neighborhood is using cellular instead of WiFi.

The power did seem to connect for a bit a simply safe said power was restored.

Went up to the bedroom around 1030. Attempted to download a kindle book. Took over an hour tethering the kindle to my phone to deliver the content. Read until 100. The incessant dim from the cheap ass generator pissing me off and keeping me awake. Put the kindle down and got about an hour of sleep. Around 2 the cheap ass generator had run out of gas. About 15 minutes later the DBDH neighbor must have realized that it had stopped so he filled up the gas and the noise resumed.

So I’m downstairs just stewing. Right now with Dominions inability to provide power coupled with DBDH noisy generator I’m thoroughly pissed.

Did some Duolingo. Read a bit more. Tried to sleep but couldn’t.

At 4:20 it died. Silence. Dropped off to sleep in the recliner. It took DBDH 17 minutes to get dressed, go downstairs, top it up with gas and at 4:37 it started again. Just died again at 4:52. It’s not the gas. It’s probably the generator.

Phones out of juice. I’ll stop my whining.
