Repurposed Walkway Pavers

I had used 10 pavers as a walkway from the stairs to the driveway. When I built the stairs extension the pavers came out and I used them to level the picnic table. The yard slopes a bit. After that was done and engineering change was requested. The request was to put pavers under the footprint of the picnic table. Had to buy 15 more pavers to complete the task. In addition to the purchase I had to dig a lot of this glacial till. The soil had a lot of rocks and clumps of grass. It was a lot of hard work in the hot sun. Finished it yesterday. I had a lot of clumps of grass left. I shook out as much dirt as I could. What was left was mulched with the lawn mower until all that was left was shredded grass and roots.

Not as level as I’d like. Next season after it’s settled I’ll get a load of stone dust and sand and do it correctly.
