Yard Cleanup

Thought after Wednesday night’s wind storm I’d pickup the sticks and twigs that had fallen. I started on the right and worked into the middle. I noticed in the back left corner a lot of green where there should not be any green. The top of my neighbors tree had fallen. There was about 25 feet of tree along the fence line. I went to get the chainsaw and after 10 minutes of it not staying in I grabbed the hand saw. Took about 25 minutes to reach over the fence and cut those limbs I could reach. There’s one I’d need a ladder to reach and I’ve watched to many YouTube videos involving dopes, chainsaws, downed trees and ladders to leave this for my neighbor.
Grabbed the rake and raked all the small twigs and leaves into three pikes. Used the pitch fork to fill the barrel 4 times and dumped this into the middle.
Once I had picked up most of the limbs and piles I then grabbed the leaf blower and blew all the remaining debris from about a third of the yard into a smaller area. I’ll mulch it with the lawn mower Sunday. Tomorrow I’ll work on the other side of the yard.
After I cut the downed limbs I dragged them into the middle of the woods. As my truck is in Maine removal will have to wait. I also will reduce the volume a bit by cutting limbs off of limbs.

My back started bothering me agin Thursday. I think it’s mainly because I’ve been sitting again.
