Spent a portion of the morning calling MAINER hvac companies. Either you’re on their list for 3 weeks from now. Or we don’t service that brand.
The first guy I called finally returned my call and arrived 45 minutes later. He felt the issue was related to some loose connections. He socked everything down and charged the system. So hopefully it was the loose fittings. My neighbor Glenn had the same issue the first season.
Hot water is still Luke warm but getting better. Hopefully it will recover on Friday. Last year it took 3 days to recover. It’s the mechanical mixing valve which regulates water coming out of the hot water heater. I run the hot water until it goes cool. It’s lasting longer.
Dug a three foot deep hole and sunk a 4*4 and mounted some bike brackets. That will get the bikes up off the ground. Just have to figure out the cover.
Mice infestation. Cleaned the place top to bottom. Not sure how they got in. I have some rat poison to deploy. Tomorrow I’ll spray the perimeter. I found that when I took all the things I stored on the picnic table below the cover that the critters spent part of their winter below the cover . This fall I’ll spray under the picnic table and leave some poison.
Put up the easy up. Cleaned the picnic table and chairs. Looks like some rodents lived under the picnic table cover for part of the winter.
Grill unpacked and tested. Still working.
Probably worked 4/5 hours today. Had a good amount of water loss of 5 pounds. Hit 234. I’m sure tomorrow will be up a tad. Drank two gator aides and water during the day, but still feel thirsty.
The new heart medication perhaps has addressed the shortness of breath issue. I’ll start walking tomorrow and see how it behaves.
