Dog people

Today while walking I saw a guy walking a rather large dog. Probably around 80 to 100 pounds. I moved out into the street by about 6 feet. He moved onto the grass. The dog was eyeballing me the whole way and was tensing. I had earphones in and he said something too the dog. I got about 10 feet from them and said good morning. He said good morning back. I passed them and got about 3 feet from them and heard the dogs nails on the ground and he nipped my left heel. I turned and said keep your dog under control. He said he just wanted to say hi. I said did it look like I wanted to say hi to him. And finished with just keep your dog under control.
