Maine “Chickens”

Seen a few appearances of Maine Chickens (turkeys). There’s a flock of 4 that hang out in the woods about a quarter mile from the front of the place. They come out to feed and spend a lot of time at a couple of bird feeders. When will people start to realize that bird feeders attract squirrels, mice, turkeys and birds. All over the park where there are bird feeders you always see squirrels and mice.

In past years there have been huge flocks of 16 to 20 birds. One year they were pecking at the grubs underground and some areas looked like they had been tilled I’d put down Grubex so they stayed away from our plot.
