Messed up on the Fridge

Went to buy a new one. I looked at a whirlpool that looked exactly like the one we’re replacing. Didn’t bother measuring. I measured the one at home and needed to take the slider door off and the delivery guys would need to remove the fridge door to get it out.

I had spent some time looking at how to remove the fixed portion of the slider, but it appears to be pressed or glued in place. Tried a few tools, but couldn’t get the threshold or headplate (terminology) out.

So we had to head back out to Sanford to see what our options were.

The failure to measure cost another 250 dollars. The new fridge is a bit wider and a bit narrower. So sometime on Monday we will get a new fridge.
