Rode the Bike

Decided to ride down to the RV store and get on his repair list. The mixing valve on the cheap water heater has been problematic since year 2. Each year it’s taken longer and longer to get hot water. Right now we’re at almost a week and the water is lukewarm. My first shower was a short cool one. All the others it’s gotten a bit warmer, but filling the sink with hot water to wash dishes isn’t happening.

Update 5/26/25: the hot water output is now almost to spec so I canceled the service call. One of these years we may have to entertain a real fix.

The ride was pretty slow. I stopped to talk at the RV store as well as one of the neighbors. My arms and shoulders are sore from the bumpy road.

Next week I’ll start some chair yoga, light exercises and some light weights.
